About Me and ZPC

Hi. My name is Dan Shafer and I’m what you would call an “industry gray-hair,” having been laboring in the technology space more or less full time since the mid-1970’s. During the past 15 or so years, I’ve spent a great deal of time thinking, researching, writing and speaking about what I call the “zero-pound computer.” This blog is my attempt to pull a lot of that knowledge and experience into one place.
